Pearson Airport’s Terminal 3 has reopened after being evacuated due to a suspicious package.

The airport stopped processing passengers booked on U.S.-bound flights during the investigation but it has since resumed regular operations.

The airport posted on Twitter that passengers may experience some delays as processing is reinstated.

Peel police say “the problem has been resolved” and there is no concern for public safety.
